Everything at Gehaaktecadeautjes is made by hand and to order. What you see on the site are examples:
each piece is made for you after you order it, in the colours and the version you choose.
Made to order: no right of withdrawal
Because a product is made especially for you to your own wishes — colour, size, name or version — the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to it. That is the legal exception for goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
In practice: a made-to-order piece cannot be exchanged or returned because you have changed your mind. So do take your time over colour and version, and do ask for extra photos or talk it through beforehand — that is what the contact page is for.
Standard products from stock
If you buy a product that is already finished and in stock, and so was not made especially for you, the ordinary 14-day right of withdrawal does apply. Where that is the case, it is stated on the product page.
Damaged, faulty or not what was agreed
Nothing here takes away from your rights. Did your order arrive damaged, is something wrong with it, or is it not what was agreed? Then send a message with a photo to gehaaktecadeautjes@hotmail.com within a reasonable time of receiving it. It will be put right: repaired, remade or refunded.
Handmade means small differences
No two pieces are exactly the same. Small differences in size, shape, tension and colour are part of handwork and do not count as a defect. Yarn is also dyed in batches, so a colour can differ slightly from the photo.
